CivicBell is a two-sided platform that connects constituents to officials representing them. This engagement helps elected and appointed officials gauge the sentiments and needs of their constituents, while also giving these residents an easy, accessible, and trustworthy way to interact. The CivicBell team saw the cluttered feeds of local-focused social platforms currently popularized and sought to create a separate, clearer, path between residents and those who represent them.
CivicBell wanted to quickly and cost effectively begin the initial steps towards launching their platform, without skipping any of the necessary touchpoints in building their brand. FarShore Software Architects and Designers were brought on to work closely with the Founders to scope out a Functional Requirements Document to serve as a blueprint for the full platform build and to create a clickable design demo of the web experience.
After a successful delivery of that first phase, the partnership between CivicBell and FarShore continued as software engineers were engaged to begin the implementation of the beta app scope. CivicBell successfullylaunched in the California market before November elections, making the platform available to all citizens of the state, with plans to ultimately expand nationwide.
