We at FarShore value the skill and experience of our team members but also recognize the potential of rookie employees. Janko, our Project Manager, tells us his story how FarShore transformed him from total beginner to experienced Project Manager.
„I started working at FarShore’s Zagreb office as a student two years ago. I was helping evaluating business leads as a BI Analyst. Although my assignments were data analytics, I had many opportunities to show my creativity. The relaxed work atmosphere and the fact that I could bring my bike next to my office desk were huge pluses for me.
After 9 months the project which I helped on was finished. Instead of being let go, I was given a promotion to Project Manager. FS gave me a chance to collect valuable work experience during my college days. After my graduation with a master’s degree in financial management the company decided to keep me as a regular team member.
Now, at the age of 25, my whole professional development was tied to FarShore and I can say I have come a long way already. From not having any user experience with smart phones, today I can say I closed several IT projects with the help of great developers. The family-like office atmosphere and creative work has spoiled me as an employee. I can’t imagine working with a more awesome team.“
